
Hyderabad, June 10 (RAHNUMA): Marking a major milestone in Telangana’s urban development journey, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday inaugurated the newly constructed headquarters of the Future City Development Authority (FCDA) at Bharat Future City.
The state-of-the-art office building, completed in a record time of less than six months, is set to serve as the primary command centre steering the planning and execution of the government’s ambitious greenfield urban project.
Spread across 7.29 acres, the facility features modern workspaces modeled after leading IT firms, dedicated executive chambers for administrative briefings, and a futuristic experience center showcasing incoming infrastructure models.
Significantly, the FCDA headquarters has secured a Net Zero Building certification from the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) ahead of its launch. The campus integrates eco-friendly construction materials, a 15-kilowatt solar power plant, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, a bio-digester plant for organic waste management, and an advanced scientific rainwater harvesting system designed to conserve every drop of precipitation.
During the event, the Chief Minister performed the puja at his office, located within the FCDA building. Subsequently, he unveiled the FCDA’s logo and official website.
Legislative Assembly Speaker Prasad Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, Rajya Sabha Members Vem Narendar Reddy and Anil Kumar Yadav, Government Advisor Sudarshan Reddy, Legislative Council Chief Whip Patnam Mahender Reddy, Government Whip Addanki Dayakar, MLAs Malreddy Ranga Reddy, Kasireddy Narayana Reddy, Vearlapalli Shankar, Naveen Yadav, and Makkan Singh Raj Thakur, and Farmers’ Commission Chairman Kodanda Reddy were present.
