Mulugu, June 17 (RAHNUMA): Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka, accompanied by District Collector Borkhade Hemant Sahadevrao, officially opened Shriya Infotech Private Limited, the inaugural private IT firm in the Mulugu district headquarters on Wednesday.
During the inauguration, Minister Seethakka conveyed her delight at the establishment of the district’s first private sector IT company, anticipating that this venture will usher in a new era for the technology sector and generate local employment for the region’s young people.
She emphasised that the IT industry has historically been concentrated in urban centres and that opportunities in this field must extend to rural and tribal areas.
The Minister further elaborated that equitable opportunities for young individuals from remote regions are contingent upon decentralising industries, employment, and development, rather than allowing them to remain confined to a single geographic area.
Seethakka said that for the past one year, Shriya Infotech company has been providing technical training in various fields to the youth of Mulugu region and teaching modern skills like app development. The apps are being developed according to local needs and services are being provided to various schools, organisations and IT sector, she said.
