Hyderabad, July 23 (NSS): Minister for Assembly Affairs D Sridhar Babu has condemned BRS MLA T Harish Rao’s baseless remarks that there is no law and order in Telangana.
Speaking to the media at the Congress Legislative Party ( CLP) office here on Tuesday, Minister Sridhar Babu said that in the previous BRS government, a lawyer couple was killed on the road in broad daylight, but no action was taken against the accused.
He alleged that the BRS leaders were unable to digest the crop loan waiver upto Rs 2 lakh initiated by the State government and was trying to mislead the farmers by indulging in a mud- slinging campaign.
Sridhar Babu said the State government is ready to discuss all the issues in the Assembly and BRS and BJP MLAs should take part in the debate.
“BRS MLA Harish Rao knows everything about the procedures of Assembly session, but he is deliberately criticising the State government for political gain.
In the past, the BRS government did not hold the budget session for more than seven to eight days. The BRS party has no right to speak about the matter,” the Minister said.
“The previous BRS government didn’t fulfil even one promise properly in ten years, but the Congress government has fulfilled many promises in the last six months and is delivering good governance to the people,” Sridhar Babu added.
