Medak, June 28 (INN): Students from Salipet Government School, located in Chinnashankarampet mandal of Medak district, staged a protest on the Gavalapally-Ramayampeta road, demanding the immediate appointment of additional teachers.
The students claimed that the school currently has only two school assistants, which is insufficient for the number of students enrolled. In a unique form of protest, they cooked meals on the road and displayed placards calling for more teachers.
“The shortage of teachers is severely impacting our education,” one of the protesting students said. “We will continue our protest until the government takes action and appoints the necessary staff.”
Parents supporting the protest urged the authorities to address the issue promptly to ensure that their children’s education is not disrupted. They stressed the importance of having a sufficient number of teachers to provide quality education. (INN)
