Hyderabad, Sept.8 (NSS): Refuting baseless allegations made by the opposition parties against the State government, Minister for IT and Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu has clarified that Telangana has secured a place among the top-performing States in the Business Reforms Action Plan (BRAP).
In a release here on Sunday, Sridhar Babu strongly condemned the attempts to tarnish the State’s image through false claims.
“Telangana is one of the 17 States recognised as “Top Achievers” for its exemplary implementation of business reforms. It received the prestigious award from the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry on September 5. Moreover, the State has achieved 100 percent implementation of all 352 parameters under the Business Reforms Action Plan, securing its place in the list of top achievers,” he disclosed.
The Minister criticised certain media outlets for publishing misleading reports that questioned Telangana’s presence in the award list.
He condemned the opposition for using these false reports to defame the Telangana State, calling it an act of malice.
Sridhar Babu further reminded that the media had already covered the moment when Dr. G. Malsur, Telangana’s Industries Commissioner, received the award from Union Minister Piyush Goyal.
He has urged the opposition leaders to recognise the hard work of the industries department officials, who earned the award, and to avoid making demoralising statements that do not reflect well on the State.
