Hyderabad, July 13 (INN): The Telangana government has announced the allocation of 200 acres for the establishment of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) City and will host the prestigious AI Global Summit in Hyderabad.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy made the announcement, revealing that global AI experts will gather at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) on September 5-6, 2024.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, accompanied by IT and Industries Minister D Srinivas Babu, unveiled the AI Global Summit logo at a conference held at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU). During the event, the Chief Minister emphasised the government’s commitment to providing quality engineering education and expressed pride in hosting the summit. He stated that the aim is to position Hyderabad as a global AI hub rather than just competing locally.
The summit, themed “Making AI Work for Everyone,” will feature keynote addresses and sessions by international AI experts, industry leaders, policymakers, and academics. The discussions will focus on AI’s potential for societal benefits, safe AI practices, its transformative impact across various industries, and its role in driving innovation.
