
Hyderabad, Aug.19 (RAHNUMA): Minister for Employment, Training and Factories and Mines & Geology Dr G. Vivek Venkataswamy on Wednesday launched an ‘Open Box’ initiative to address the problems and grievances of people in the Chennur Assembly constituency.
An ‘Open Box’ has been set up to enable people to directly submit their complaints and requests. The Minister said he would personally unlock the box, examine the letters and take steps to resolve the issues raised by the people.
He said the initiative was aimed at promoting transparent governance and ensuring corruption-free administration.
Describing it as the first-of-its-kind initiative in the State, Vivek said the ‘Open Box’ would serve as a direct bridge between the people and the government.
Later, the Minister laid the foundation stone for development works at Kotapalli High School, to be taken up at a cost of ₹50 lakh with CSR funds.
Minister Vivek Venkataswamy and Peddapalli MP Vamsi Krishna also inaugurated a free coaching centre in Chennur for aspirants preparing for Sub-Inspector and constable recruitment examinations. The centre has been named after former Union Minister Kaka Venkataswamy.
