Hyderabad, July 2 (NSS): Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will meet on July 6 to discuss the outstanding issues between the two Telugu States. Prof. Kodandaram responded to the proposed meeting of the chief ministers of the two States.
He said he was welcoming the discussions between the Chief Ministers of Telugu States on bifurcation issues. “The people of both the States are still crying over 10 years of issues. I hope the problem ends,” he said, added that it was a good development that the chief ministers of both the states were going to hold discussions on behalf of the people of the two States.
“Chandrababu as the representative of the people of AP and Revanth Reddy as the representative of the people of Telangana will discuss the issues. The Chief Ministers have no choice, but to talk to each other and resolve the issue,” He said. He also said a solution would be found on the issues of distribution of assets of public sector undertakings, river water and division of employees.
Kodandaram criticized former CMs KCR and Jagan, who were the chief ministers in the past, had lunch together but did not discuss people’s issues with sincerity. (NSS)
