Hyderabad, Aug.7 (NSS): The State government has constituted a cabinet sub-committee to study and recommend on the modalities and guidelines on the National Framework for sediment management by the Ministry of Jal Shakti, department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, adoption of National Framework for restoration of storage capacity of reservoirs in Telangana.
The Cabinet Sub-Committee is constituted with three members. Telangana Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy will act as the Chairman and Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao and Excise Minister Jupally Krishna Rao will be other two Members of the Committee. Apart from this, the secretary to Government & CAD department shall be the Member/Convenor of the above Cabinet Sub-Committee, which will study and submit the recommendations to the government.
