
Hyderabad, Aug 8 ( NSS): Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has extended greetings to the tribal community on the occasion of International Adivasi Day on Friday (August 9).
In a message on Thursday, the Chief Minister said that the tribals are the original habitants of the forests and they only safeguard the precious natural resources.
Stating that the tribal community is also a symbol of maintaining pure relations, the Chief Minister said that the people’s government is committed to protect the rights of the tribals and also for their welfare and it accorded top priority to the tribal welfare by allocating Rs 17,056 crore in the budget this year.
“The neglected upgraded Panchayats in the tribal habitations will be provided adequate funds to develop civic infrastructure like roads, electricity , medical care and education facilities,” Revanth Reddy said.
