Hyderabad, Aug.11 (NSS): Union Minister G Kishan Reddy today inaugurated Tiranga rally at Ramnagar Chowrasta here.
Speaking to media persons on the occasion, he said the upcoming Independence Day celebrations had begun in the State. “For the last three years, we have been organizing the Independence Day festival in a big way under the aegis of the Central government. On the occasion, on every house, the Prime Minister called for hoisting the national flag in the name of Har Ghar Tiranga.
“The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha will organise a tiranga rally and tiranga yatra across the country. About 23 crore people hoisted the national flag on their homes on the occasion of 75 years of the Independence Day. The Prime Minister called for continuing the same spirit on the upcoming Independence Day. As part of this, the event is going to be organized on behalf of the State Government on behalf of the Government of India. Voluntary organizations and student organisations participated in the Tiranga rally and maintained the integrity of the country, the unity of the country and told the history of Independence Day celebrations to the world and the younger generation,” he said. “On this occasion, I urge the Telugu people to be a part of the freedom festival of the country and urge everyone to hoist the national flag on their home,” he said.
