Hyderabad, Oct.22 (NSS): As announced earlier, BRS party working president KTR has filed a criminal defamation case in the Nampally Criminal Court alleging that State Minister Konda Surekha made controversial and defamatory comments against him and damaged his reputation. The court recorded the statements of witnesses, including KTR today. KTR made important comments on Twitter on the issue.
“I have taken a firm decision against baseless allegations and personal insults against me. I have filed a Rs 100 crore defamation suit against Minister Konda Surekha for her malicious and cheap comments. As a representative of the people.. I give priority to people’s issues over personal disputes,” he said. He also said his decision to file case against the minister should be a lesson to those who make cheap comments in the name of political criticism. KTR said he was confident that the truth would prevail in the court.
