Hyderabad, Nov.23 (NSS): BRS party working president KT Rama Rao today alleged that former Kodangal MLA Patnam Narender Reddy was lodged in Cherlapally jail for a mistake he did not commit due to the vindictive attitude of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. On Saturday, KTR met Patnam Narender Reddy, who is a remand prisoner in Cherlapally Central Jail.
Speaking to media persons later, KTR said, “We met our Narender Reddy, who was jailed for the sin of fighting on behalf of the poor, tribals and weaker sections of the farmers, in Cherlapally jail. When I met Patnam Narender Reddy, he told me to release 30 innocent farmers and not bother about him. Congratulations to Narender Reddy for this. In Kodangal, dalit, tribal and bahujan lands are being grabbed and the unnecessary pharma village is being forced. They are saying that they should fight for them,” he said.
KTR said from Sangareddy jail to Cherlapally jail, innocent people who have not done anything wrong were in jail. But from Kodangal to Kondareddy village, the miscreants, who are committing anarchy were sitting on the throne. “In Kodangal, in the middle of the night, they are lying on their houses and committing atrocities on women and children and grabbing the lands of poor farmers. The 85-year-old former sarpanch of Kondareddypalli Sai Reddy was attacked. He worked for Revanth Reddy in the recent elections. He said the CM had built a wall across his house leaving no pathway. Sai Reddy committed suicide due to grief and humiliation. Such incidents are seen under the rule of dictators and miscreants. We were in power in the past. Have you ever heard of such incidents?” KTR asked.
He said, “People are now counting the atrocities of the Congress government and the sins of Revanth Reddy as they counted the mistakes of Shishupala,” he said. KTR expressed agony that the police were attacking the families of poor and tribal farmers like bandits in the middle of the night due to land scams and atrocities in the name of pharma village. He criticized that people like Sai Reddy and Guruva Reddy committed suicides. He said the day of reaping the sins of the anarchy in his own village was nearing. He said even bigger dictators than Revanth Reddy had been washed away. KTR assured that justice and righteousness would surely prevail.
