HYDERABAD, 15 December 2025 (RAHNUMA) Mr. Ali A. Niroomand, Regional Director of the Noormicrofilm International Centre, New Delhi, paid a courtesy visit to welcome the newly appointed Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Hyderabad, His Excellency Agha Hamid Ahmadiyeh, and congratulated him on assuming charge.
During the meeting, both sides held detailed discussions on matters of mutual interest, with a particular focus on strengthening relations between India—especially the state of Telangana—and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The areas of cooperation discussed included trade, commerce, economic collaboration, cultural exchange, political engagement, and educational cooperation.
Mr. Niroomand shared insights from his 35 years of professional experience associated with the Iranian Consulate, highlighting the depth and continuity of Indo-Iranian relations and the importance of sustained institutional and cultural engagement.
His Excellency the Consul General warmly acknowledged the interaction and extended an invitation to the Iranian community and well-wishers to participate in the celebrations of Shab-e-Yalda, underscoring Iran’s rich cultural traditions and its commitment to people-to-people ties in the region.
