Fete De Noel 2025 Brings Campus alive with faith, festivity at St Joseph’s College

Hyderabad, Dec.22 (RAHNUMA): St. Joseph’s degree and PG college celebrated the spirit of Christmas with its annual fest “Fête De Noël 2025”, transforming the campus into a vibrant hub of prayer, cultural performances and student-led activities. Organised by the Anno Domini team, the event brought together students, faculty and alumni under the theme of joy, hope and community sharing.

Chief Guest Fr. P. Gnana Reddy, Principal of St. Mary’s Centenary Junior College, praised the initiative for fostering value-based leadership. He noted that such celebrations encourage youth to pause, reflect on Christ’s message and rediscover the joy of giving.

Vice Chairman – HAES and Correspondent Msgr. Y. Balashowry highlighted the inclusive spirit of the fest, calling every creative effort on campus a “seed of peace and solidarity”.
College Principal Rev. Fr. Anthony Sagayaraja emphasised the institution’s commitment to holistic education, describing Fête De Noël as a platform for students to learn teamwork, responsibility and faith in action.

The day began with a solemn inauguration featuring a prayer song, welcome dance, candle lighting and Bible reading. Cultural highlights included gospel dances, a campus skit on living by faith and spirited carol renditions by the Anno Domini choir.

Student engagement remained at the core of the fest, with competitions such as “Bible Quiz, Treasure Hunt, Best Christmas Click, Ornament Making, Greeting Card Making and Carol Singing” drawing enthusiastic participation. The Bible Quiz tested scriptural knowledge from the four Gospels, while creative events showcased artistic expression rooted in the Christmas theme.

The fest concluded with a valedictory session, prize distribution and felicitation of judges and organisers, before the National Anthem marked the formal closure.
