New ECHS Polyclinic inaugurated at Anantapur to boost veterans’ healthcare

Hyderabad, Jan.3 (RAHNUMA): A new Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) Polyclinic was inaugurated at Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh, on January 3, 2026, strengthening healthcare services for veterans and their dependents.

The facility was inaugurated by Major General Ajay Misra, GOC, Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA), in the presence of civil administration officials, Armed Forces personnel, and a large number of ex-servicemen and their families.

A joint initiative of civil authorities and the Armed Forces, the polyclinic will offer advanced medical care, specialised treatment units, modern diagnostics and structured rehabilitation programmes.

The initiative reaffirms the Indian Army’s commitment to providing dignified, reliable, and comprehensive healthcare to veterans and their families.
