Hyderabad, March 27 (RAHNUMA): Telangana Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Friday assured that the proposed dumping yard near Sirsapalli Rangapur in Huzurabad will not proceed against public sentiment.
Responding to a memorandum from the Huzurabad All-Party Committee, the Minister said he would take the issue to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and ensure a fair decision.
He noted that the dumping yard project was sanctioned in the year 2022 but emphasized that the government would prioritize people’s concerns before moving forward.
The all-party committee included Municipal Chairperson Rontala Suhasini, Councilor Vardineni Ravinder Rao, All-Party Committee President Palakala Eshwar Reddy, former SC Corporation Chairman Banda Srinivas and committee members Rajapalli Sarpanch Katkuru Mallareddy, Chandupatla Janardhan, Kolipaka Sammaiah, Velpula Ratnam and Hariprasad.
