Ramgiri shrine to become major spiritual hub by next Rama Navami: Komatireddy

Nalgonda, March 27 (RAHNUMA): Minister for Roads and Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Friday announced that the historic Ramgiri Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy Temple will be developed into a prominent spiritual centre with improved facilities by next year’s Sri Rama Navami.

The Minister participated in the Sri Sita Rama Kalyanotsavam at the temple as part of the festive celebrations, offered silk clothes and mutyala talambralu to the deity.

Addressing devotees, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said a comprehensive plan is in place to enhance infrastructure, keeping in view the growing influx of pilgrims to the temple every year.

He said key initiatives include creation of Vaikuntha Dwaram and Uttara Dwara Darshanam, along with expansion of existing darshan routes to ease crowd movement.

The Land acquisition for these works is under process, with registration expected to be completed within a month, after which development works will begin, the Minister said.

Emphasising the temple’s historical importance, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said efforts would be made to ensure better amenities for devotees without disturbing temple lands.

He noted that the National Highway alignment in the area has already been diverted through a bypass to safeguard temple property.

Extending Sri Rama Navami greetings, the Minister expressed hope that people of Nalgonda would be blessed with peace, prosperity and well-being.
