Hyderabad, May 5 (RAHNUMA): The registration process for land sales, purchases, and mutations has been completely halted throughout Telangana.
This interruption is primarily due to technical problems affecting the server of the newly launched ‘Bhu Bharati’ portal. Since Tuesday morning, the portal has been out of service, leading to hundreds of stalled registrations statewide.
As a result of the server outage, many people have been left waiting for long periods at sub-registrar offices. Buyers and sellers who traveled from far away for their registrations have experienced significant difficulties.
There is growing concern among the public, especially with other services like mutations, slot bookings, and EC (Encumbrance Certificate) downloads also being halted entirely. Because of the technical issues, no registrations have been completed since the morning.
The land transfer process, particularly mutations, is currently stuck as the software is not operational.
Officials believe that this disruption could be due to an unexpected surge in server traffic or other technical malfunctions.
According to sources in the Revenue department, the technical team is actively working to fix the problem and anticipates that services will be restored soon. They have urged the public to remain patient during this time.
In the meantime, people who have come for registrations have voiced their frustration over the persistent server issues and are calling for immediate government action to improve the portal’s capacity.
