Hyderabad, June 13 (RAHNUMA): Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla said that the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) plays a crucial role in the country’s security architecture.
Addressing the Passing Out Parade of the 39th Batch of Assistant Commandant Probationers and the 9th Batch of Sub-Inspector trainees at the National Industrial Security Academy (NISA), Hakimpet on Saturday, the Governor congratulated the officers on successfully completing their rigorous training.
He extended his felicitations to the 76 Assistant Commandant Probationers and 124 Sub-Inspector trainees, and said that the discipline, confidence and professional excellence displayed during the parade reflected their dedication and commitment.
The Governor noted that the CISF has been rendering invaluable services in safeguarding airports, seaports, nuclear installations, space establishments, energy projects, metro networks and other critical industrial infrastructure across the country.
Beyond protecting strategic assets, the force also contributes significantly to safeguarding public confidence and supporting the nation’s economic growth, he said.
Referring to the evolving security landscape, Shukla observed that challenges such as terrorism, cybercrime and drone-based threats demand greater vigilance and preparedness. He expressed confidence that the young officers, equipped with professional competence, technological knowledge and sound leadership abilities, would effectively address these emerging challenges.
The Governor remarked that the stars adorning the shoulders of the officers symbolised not merely rank, but also the trust, responsibility and duty entrusted to them by the nation. He emphasised that true leadership is founded on character, integrity, courage and a spirit of service rather than authority alone.
Commending the ex-servicemen trainees who chose to serve the nation once again in uniform after rendering distinguished service in the Armed forces, he described their commitment and patriotism as exemplary.
