Singapore, June 16 (RAHNUMA): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu invited Singaporean businesses to invest in Andhra Pradesh, pitching the state as India’s fastest-growing investment destination.
Addressing the CII Partnership Summit Roadshow in Singapore ahead of the upcoming Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam, the Chief Minister described Andhra Pradesh as a model state for investment and economic growth. Andhra Pradesh enjoys a long-standing and productive relationship with Singapore, he claimed and recalled Singapore’s contribution to the development of Hyderabad during the undivided Andhra Pradesh era and its pivotal role in preparing the master plan for Amaravati after state bifurcation.“Singapore has designed a remarkable blue-green capital city plan for Amaravati. We continue to work closely with Singapore on urban development and infrastructure initiatives. Andhra Pradesh is one of the best destinations for investment, and I invite Singaporean entrepreneurs to make Amaravati and Andhra Pradesh their second home”, he noted.
On this occasion, Naidu highlighted AP’s “Speed of Doing Business” model, upcoming mega projects in AI, data centers, electronics, and quantum computing, and the state’s Vision 2047 roadmap. He urged global investors to partner in Andhra Pradesh’s growth story, calling it a “golden opportunity” backed by strong infrastructure, policy support, and political stability. Further, the Chief Minister outlined his vision for Amaravati as a leading education, innovation and knowledge hub. He said the city will be connected to major metropolitan centers such as Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai through future high-speed rail networks.
