
Hyderabad, June 17 (RAHNUMA): Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with IGNITUS Edutech Private Limited to establish a Foreign Languages Training Centre on its campus, aimed at boosting employability and global career opportunities for the students.
The agreement was signed by University Registrar Dr. L. Vijaya Krishna Reddy and IGNITUS Director Meeta Singh Kanvar in the presence of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Chakrapani said proficiency in foreign languages has become increasingly important in the era of globalization and can help students secure jobs in multinational companies and overseas markets.
The centre will initially offer training in English, Korean, Japanese and German, along with skill-based courses. The initiative aligns with the Telangana government’s focus on enhancing youth employability and preparing students for global opportunities.
University officials, faculty members and representatives of IGNITUS Edutech attended the MoU signing ceremony.
