Hyderabad, July 29 (RAHNUMA): Theunder the Department of Atomic Energy, celebrated its 77th Foundation Day here at its Begumpet headquarters and regional centres located at New Delhi, Bengaluru, Jamshedpur, Shillong, Jaipur, Nagpur and Cherlapally (Hyderabad), as well as its three Sectional Offices at Thiruvananthapuram, Visakhapatnam and Kolkata. The main function was organised at the Dr. Homi J. Bhabha Auditorium at the Headquarters.
On this occasion, AMD director Dheeraj Pande highlighted AMD’s achievements in atomic and critical mineral exploration, emphasising its role in supporting India’s Nuclear Energy Mission and the National Critical Mineral Mission under the Viksit Bharat @2047 vision. Former senior AMD scientists lauded the organisation’s legacy and future role in strengthening the nation’s strategic mineral security.
A vibrant cultural programme presented by AMD employees added colour and enthusiasm to the celebrations and received widespread appreciation from the audience.
