Hyderabad, Aug.12 (RAHNUMA): AIG Hospitals has joined hands to implement Polyphonic Surgery, a digital technology platform designed to bring surgical planning, collaboration, learning resources and structured feedback into a centralised environment.
Through hands-on implementation and collaboration with surgeons, operating room teams, residents, information technology professionals and hospital leadership, AIG Hospitals will evaluate how connected digital technologies can strengthen clinical excellence and operational efficiency.
Dr. GV Rao, Director and Chief of Surgery, AIG Hospitals, said surgery now extends beyond the operating room, encompassing planning, coordinated execution, review, learning and continuous improvement. He said Polyphonic™ Surgery would help teams communicate better, learn faster, train more effectively and ultimately provide more precise and consistent patient care.
The initiative aligns with AIG Hospitals’ broader vision of integrating clinical excellence with academics, research, digital innovation and AI-enabled healthcare. Participating users will provide feedback on usability, workflow integration and clinical connectivity to help shape future applications across surgical specialties and hospital systems.
The introduction of Polyphonic Surgery adds a new dimension to the hospital’s efforts to strengthen medical training, evidence-based practice and technology-driven surgical innovation.
