Hyderabad, May 27 (RAHNUMA): A two-day national workshop on online education and quality assurance began at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University in collaboration with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
BRAOU Vice Chancellor Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani said the university is strengthening digital education through initiatives such as a Learning Management System, web radio, e-books and micro-credential courses.
Former NAAC Director V. S. Prasad stressed the need for flexible and innovation-driven quality assurance systems in higher education.
NAAC Director Ganesan Kannabiran said the workshop aims to help institutions build stronger frameworks for online education and accreditation.
Dr. B.S. Ponmudiraj Raj, NAAC, highlighted the significance of collaborative learning and institutional networking in strengthening quality assurance and digital transformation in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online Education. Prof Uma Kanjilal, VC, IGNOU, Ms Brita, South Africa, Ms.Maria, South Africa, Prof. Pushpa Chakrapani, Director, Academic, BRAOU participated. Total participants – 59 from all over the country participated in the workshop.
