Hyderabad, June 4 (RAHNUMA): The Council for Green Revolution has presented a special recognition and a certificate of Recognition to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University for its efforts in environmental conservation. Council for Green Revolution Officials conferred in acknowledgment of the initiatives undertaken within the university campus regarding plantation, tree protection, and the preservation of ancient rock formations. Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani, Vice-Chancellor stated that this recognition was earned through the university’s implementation of environmental conservation and sustainable development programs, as well as the measures taken to ensure the safety and well-being of greenery, birds, and other wildlife.
He described the special recognition awarded by the Council for Green Revolution as a contribution of the collective efforts and dedicated work of the university’s teaching and non-teaching staff. Further, he revealed that the university is implementing a specialized Bio – Diversity plan to maintain ecological balance and has undertaken measures to foster the growth of local flora and fauna. Dr. LVK Reddy, Registrar stated that with this recognition, their responsibility toward environmental conservation has increased even further.
