CM Revanth launches Indiramma housing scheme at Bhadrachalam

Bhadrachalam, March 11 (NSS): Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday launched the prestigious Indiramma housing scheme in Bhadrachalam on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said he was very much delighted to launch the Indiramma housing scheme for poor in the presence Lord Rama in the temple town of  Bhadrachalam and the objective of launching the scheme was to fulfill the dream of owning a house by all  poorer sections .

The Chief Minister said the government has already sanctioned 4,50,000 Indiramma houses at the cost of  Rs.22,500 crore and under the scheme, the house pattas will be given in the name of women.

In the previous BRS government, then chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao sought votes in the name of double bedroom houses and deceived people. That’s the reason, people have buried KCR regime and elected the  “Indiramma Rajyam”,” Revanth Reddy alleged.

He further stated that the Congress party and Khammam district are maintaining a special bond with the people, that’s the reason, the State government has launched the Indiramma housing scheme from the old Khammam district.

“Under the housing scheme, the  government will provide Rs 5 Lakh financial assistance for beneficiaries to build houses in their own housing plots. The houses will be sanctioned to all deserving poorer sections,” the Chief Minister said.

Stating that the State government is already providing Cooking Gas cylinder at Rs 500, free bus travel to women in the RTC buses and 200 units of free power, the Chief Minister threw an open challenge to KCR, asking him to seek votes in the villages where double bed houses were sanctioned.

“Congress will also seek votes in the villages where Indiramma houses are constructed for poor,” Revanth Reddy said.

He also asked the Bharatiya Janatha Party to make public on the details of houses sanctioned to the poor in Telangana. (NSS)
