Fill up 20,000 teachers’ posts in DSC: Gadari Kishore

Hyderabad, July 10 (NSS): Former BRS party MLA Gadari Kishore Kumar has reacted sharply to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s remarks against the agitating unemployed of the State. He alleged that Revanth Reddy was insulting the students and the unemployed by calling them as fools. “When Revanth Reddy took his party leader Rahul Gandhi to meet the unemployed and made him turn around in Ashok Nagar of the city, didn’t he know the problems of the unemployed then,” he asked.

Gadari Kishore spoke to the media at Telangana Bhavan in the city on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, he said the unemployed in the State were demanding that the upcoming DSC exam be postponed. “If there are difficulties faced by the government, efforts should be made to convince the unemployed by giving reasons. Even in the separate Telangana movement, the police did not step into Osmania University in such a way that it would create a ruckus without doing so. Noting the intensity Gadari Kishore claimed that the police had harassed the students with their unruly acts on Tuesday in such a way that were reminiscent of the separate Telangana State movement.

He asked the State government to give 45 days time for the DSC aspirants as the 25 days time was not enough to read the changed syllabus. “The DSC aspirants are requesting the State government to understand their grievances. In addition, another 9,000 posts are lying vacant due to promotions of SGTs. The Congress government had notified 11,000 teachers’ posts in addition to the 5,000 posts notified by the previous BRS government. Now the demand of the DSC aspirants is that as SGTs have been promoted, the State government should include 9,000 teachers’ posts vacated by the SGTs and fill up a total of  20,000 teachers posts,” he said. Kishore also alleged that CM Revanth Reddy had sold all the government jobs. (NSS)
