Adilabad, July 11 ( NSS): Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has made it clear that the guidelines for the
‘Rythu Bharosa scheme will be prepared according to the views of farmers.
The Cabinet Sub-Committee headed by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Thursday visited Adilabad district to collect opinions from farmers at the field level for preparing the guidelines for the Rythu Bharosa scheme.
A meeting was held at the KB complex hall in Utnoor Agency Center of Adilabad district, where Cabinet Sub-Committee Members, including Ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Tummala Nageswara Rao and Adilabad district In-charge Minister Seethakka, MLAs, MLCs and other elected representatives were present.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister said that as part of the six guarantees given by the Congress party, the Rythu Bharosa Scheme was one among them and the State government was committed to implement the scheme after preparing the guidelines that are framed by collecting opinions from farmers at the field level.
The Cabinet Sub-Committee will visit all districts of Telangana to collect opinions from the people. Later, it will present the report in the Assembly, Bhatti Vikramarka said.
He stated that no guidelines have been finalised so far on the Rythu Bharosa scheme, but most of the farmers are suggesting that the village should be taken as a unit.(NSS)
