Nalgonda, Sept.9 (NSS): Suryapet MLA Jagadish Reddy today said he welcomed the Telangana High Court’s verdict on the disqualification petition filed by their party leaders. He also said the High Court verdict came as a slap in the face to the traitors who won on BRS party B-form and switched parties and added that the High Court verdict was to increase the faith in democracy.
Addressing media persons at the BRS party office in Nalgonda, he said even in the people’s court, the people were ready to give a befitting reply to the ruling Congress party.
“They will be disqualified. By-elections are certain to be held in Telangana. Whenever elections are held, the pink flag will be hoisted,” he said. He alleged that in the name of Hydra, Revanth was tarnishing the brand image of Hyderabad and added that the CM was making political vendetta and high drama.
“Revanth’s actions are against the Constitution. How many ponds are there? What are their boundaries? A decision has to be made. The poor should not face any difficulties. The Congress is behaving the same way with the poor and bada bada babus,” he alleged.
Meanwhile , former minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao also made hot comments on the High Court’s order on the MLAs who have switched sides. He said the High Court had directed the assembly Speaker to take action against the MLAs, who switched sides within four weeks. “The High Court has told the Speaker that if no action is taken within four weeks, it would have to take suo motu cognizance of the matter. There will be another by-election in three seats,” he added.
Rao said the BRS party was sure to win with the highest majority. It is known that the Telangana High Court has given a big shock to the MLAs who have switched sides. On Monday , the High Court delivered its verdict on the disqualification petitions filed against the MLAs who defected from the BRS party. The high court directed the assembly secretary to place the disqualification petitions before the speaker.
