Komatireddy extends ₹10 lakh aid to IIT Madras graduate for Germany master’s

Hyderabad, July 23 (RAHNUMA): Minister for Roads, Buildings, and Cinematography, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, has extended ₹10 lakh in financial assistance to Parimala, a meritorious student from an economically disadvantaged background, clearing her path to pursue higher education in Germany.Parimala, a native of Devarakonda and the daughter of daily wage labourer, completed her undergraduate studies at IIT Madras before securing admission to a prestigious German university for her Master’s degree. Facing financial hardship, her family struggled to fund her overseas studies.

Upon identifying her situation, Devarakonda MLA Balu Naik brought the family’s plight to Minister Venkat Reddy’s attention. Impressed by Parimala’s academic achievements, the Minister promptly sanctioned ₹10 lakh through the Komatireddy Prateek Foundation.

“Poverty should never become a barrier to talent. Given the right opportunity, students from underprivileged backgrounds can excel on the global stage. I will always stand by deserving students and support their aspirations,” he said.

The Minister expressed confidence that Parimala would achieve great success in Germany and bring accolades to both Telangana and the nation.
