Hyderabad, April 27 (RAHNUMA): BRS party working president KTR has responded regarding his sister Kavitha’s new political party. Making an indirect reference to the ‘Telangana Rashtra Sena’ (TRS), he remarked that many parties come and go. He stated that very few parties manage to complete 25 years of existence, implying that there is no need to pay much attention to a new party. “Many people are talking about KCR and there is no need to pay them any heed. We held discussions regarding the welfare schemes implemented for Singareni workers. We passed a resolution expressing gratitude to all sections of society and the entire populace of Telangana. Another resolution was passed to thank those, who cooperated during the statehood movement and walked alongside us.
During the meeting, we also took decisions concerning the chaotic administration of the Congress party. The United Nations has praised our ‘Rythu Bandhu’ scheme for the support it provides to farmers. However, the Congress government is currently undermining the Rythu Bandhu scheme. They are distributing funds to farmers in installments merely to engage in self-promotion,” he said .
KTR revealed that they held extensive discussions regarding the crisis prevailing in the state’s agricultural sector. He claimed that Farmers were suffering losses due to the state government’s negligence in grain procurement and added that the Grain stocks had fallen into the hands of middlemen and added that procurement centers across the state were non-functional. “We passed a resolution demanding that the government procure the grains without imposing any restrictions. If the government fails to procure the grains without such restrictions, the BRS will launch a protest movement in the villages,” he asserted.
