
Hyderabad, April 26 (RAHNUMA): The Unified Council hosted its Olympiads Annual Awards Celebrations – 2026 at Ravindra Bharathi in Hyderabad on Sunday by recognizing outstanding students from national and international Olympiads.
The award ceremony honoured the top performers in the National Level Science Talent Search Examination (NSTSE), Unified International Cyber Olympiad (UICO), Unified International English Olympiad (UIEO), Unified International Mathematics Olympiad (UIMO) and Unified International General Knowledge Olympiad (UIGKO). BJP MP Eatala Rajender took part in the event as the chief guest along with the Founder Chairman and Board Member of Cyient company Dr.B.V.R. Mohan Reddy, Mahankali Independent director and board advisor of ASCI Srinivas Rao and the Chancellor of Aditya University, Dr.N.Sesha Reddy. Rajender Felicitated the Olympiad achievers on the occasion.
Speaking to media on the occasion, the CEO of the unified council Srinivas Kalluri said that that the Unified Council was a pioneer in educational assessment and a leader in Olympiad-based learning and added that it continues its mission of strengthening students’ fundamentals and nurturing analytical thinking. He noted that For over 28 years, the Unified Council had been at the forefront of designing high-quality assessments that go beyond rote learning.
“These assessments are uniquely structured to evaluate conceptual clarity, application skills, analytical ability and problem-solving aptitude—key competencies essential for academic excellence and future success. Detailed performance reports further support students and schools in identifying learning gaps and improving outcomes. The Unified Council holds the distinction of being India’s first ISO 9001 certified organization in educational testing and assessment. Today, it stands as India’s largest Olympiad-conducting body for school students,” he said .
He noted that During the academic year 2025–26, over 1 million students from Classes 1 to 10 participated in the Unified Council Olympiads, with representation from more than 30+ countries, including Malaysia, Singapore, USA, Canada, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Yemen, Russia, Bahrain, Qatar and Tanzania—reflecting its growing global footprint. At the ceremony, 250 top-ranking students from across the country were felicitated with Gold Medals, Laptops, Tablet PCs and Cash Awards.
