Hyderabad, Aug.13 (RAHNUMA): NAREDCO Telangana felicitated its Chief Mentor and former President Maganti Murali Mohan for receiving the prestigious Padma Shri Award in recognition of his contributions to cinema, public service, real estate, philanthropy and social welfare.
The felicitation ceremony, held at The Debut in Hyderabad, was attended by Telangana Legislative Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar as chief guest and MLC Thaniparthy Bhanu Prasad Rao as guest of honour.
Murali Mohan, who has had a career spanning more than five decades, has acted in over 350 films and produced several movies under the Jayabheri banner. He has also made significant contributions to the real estate sector and public service.
Through the Murali Mohan charitable trust, he has supported education for economically disadvantaged students and various healthcare and community welfare initiatives. His tenure as a Member of Parliament also marked his continued engagement in public service.
NAREDCO Telangana President Sreedhar Reddy Koppula described the Padma Shri as a proud moment for the organisation, saying Murali Mohan’s journey reflected excellence in cinema, entrepreneurship, public service and philanthropy.
Receiving the honour, Murali Mohan said he was deeply humbled by the felicitation and reaffirmed his commitment to giving back to society.
Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar said Murali Mohan’s stature elevates public discourse and inspires future generations, while MLC Bhanu Prasad Rao praised his lasting contribution to cinema, real estate and public service.
NAREDCO Telangana Secretary General R. Venkateswara Rao thanked the dignitaries, fraternity members and the media for their participation.
