Hyderabad, Sept.9 (RAHNUMA): Punjab State Information Commissioner Harpreet Sandhu called on Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Lok Bhavan, Hyderabad, on Wednesday.
During the interaction, Harpreet Sandhu presented his authored books showcasing the rich agrarian heritage of Punjab and the iconic heritage of Chandigarh, including a book on Sukhna Lake. He also presented his acclaimed artwork, “The Pride of Peacock – Glory of India”, portraying the national bird of India.
The presentation was aimed at highlighting India’s diverse natural, cultural, agrarian and architectural heritage across different States and promoting greater appreciation of the country’s rich and multifaceted heritage.
The Governor appreciated the artwork depicting the national bird and commended Harpreet Sandhu’s initiative towards promoting and showcasing India’s rich natural and cultural heritage.
