
Hyderabad, July 4 (RAHNUMA): Victoria (Australia) Legislative Council Government Whip Lee Tarlamis called on Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu at the Secretariat on Saturday to formalise a broad-based economic and technological partnership.
The high-level bilateral meeting focused heavily on bridging the tech, startup, and creative ecosystems of both states. Key areas slated for deeper cooperation include emerging technologies, advanced manufacturing, education, skill development, gaming, visual effects (VFX), and animation.
On the occasion, Minister Sridhar Babu explained the initiatives being undertaken by the Telangana government to position the state as a global investment destination. He said the government is strategically developing the state’s industrial ecosystem to prepare for future challenges and emphasised that Telangana places high importance on international partnerships.
The Minister highlighted that Telangana offers a highly favourable environment for industrial development and invited businesses from Victoria to invest in the state while encouraging local entrepreneurs to explore opportunities.
Lee Tarlamis expressed Victoria’s interest in working with a progressive state like Telangana. He said both sides would identify areas of mutual cooperation and prepare a comprehensive roadmap to advance the partnership. CS Sanjay Jaju also attended the meeting.
