
Hyderabad, June 27 (RAHNUMA): As part of the nationwide “Chhatron Ki Goonj” campaign, the Telangana Youth Congress staged a massive protest against the NEET paper leak at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar statue on Tank Bund, Hyderabad on Saturday.
Demanding the immediate resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, demonstrators held the minister morally responsible for the crisis and burned his effigy in protest.
The demonstration was led by chief guests including Telangana Youth Congress President Jakkidi Shivacharan Reddy, State Youth Congress In-charge Khalid, and Co-in-charge Roshini Jaiswal.
Addressing the gathering, Shivacharan Reddy accused the Central government of jeopardising the futures of lakhs of students across the country. He warned that the Youth Congress would intensify its agitation and continue protesting until the Union Education Minister steps down.
Khairatabad district Youth Congress President Haridhar, State General Secretary Majid and other leaders, including Gurram Shyam Charan Reddy, Khaisar, Secunderabad District Youth Congress President Madhusudan were present in the programme.
