Resilient Minds key to Thriving Businesses: FTCCI hosts high-impact leadership workshop

Hyderabad, Feb.28 (RAHNUMA): The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) hosted a one-day leadership programme, “Resilient Minds – Thriving Businesses”, at its Surana Auditorium in Hyderabad, attracting over 200 entrepreneurs, business leaders and healthcare professionals and industry stakeholders who gathered to explore the powerful intersection of psychology, leadership and sustainable business growth.

Dr. Dilip P. Bhanushali, National President of the Indian Medical Association (2024–25), and Dr. P. Kishan, President of IMA Telangana, attended as Guests of Honour. Addressing the gathering, Dr Dilip said that doctors, too, must be granted immunity, similar to judges and advocates, from the provisions of the Clinical Consumer Protection Act. He informed that several representations had been made in the past in this regard. Emphasising the sacrifices made by the medical fraternity, he noted that more than 2,000 doctors lost their lives during the COVID-19 pandemic while rendering medical aid to patients. “Doctors render yeoman service to society and deserve appropriate legal protection,” he said.

Highlighting the stature of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), he shared that it is one of the world’s largest medical bodies with over 4.5 lakh members, 32 state branches, and nearly 1,800 local branches. He also mentioned that IMA has trained more than 50,000 doctors on the MPV vaccine. Dr. Bhanushali emphasised that mental toughness is crucial for navigating market volatility and organisational challenges.

Speakers highlighted the role of emotional intelligence, stress management and self-awareness in business success. FTCCI President R. Ravi Kumar said managing the mind is key to managing people and enterprises effectively.

The programme concluded with participants appreciating FTCCI’s initiative to integrate mental well-being with leadership and sustainable business growth.
