Hyderabad, Sept.9 (RAHNUMA): The Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGSWREIS) will launch special EAPCET coaching in 162 Non-Centres of Excellence (Non-COE) colleges across the State from Thursday, TGSWREIS (FAC) Secretary Kambampati Sharada said.
The initiative is aimed at extending quality competitive-examination coaching beyond the existing Centres of Excellence and ensuring that a larger number of students studying in Non-COE colleges get access to structured preparation for the EAPCET.
For several years since the establishment of the Society in 1984, students largely relied on regular academic instruction to pursue their higher-education goals. With the introduction of this initiative, systematic EAPCET coaching is now being extended to students of Non-COE colleges as well, Ms Sharada said.
The coaching will be delivered through online and virtual classes by experienced subject experts, enabling students across the State to access quality instruction irrespective of their location.
The programme will make use of technology to provide standardised and structured coaching to students of Non-COE colleges, with a focus on strengthening their subject knowledge, examination preparedness and competitive skills.
At present, JEE and NEET coaching is available in 37 COE institutions. With the extension of competitive-examination coaching to Non-COE Science colleges across Telangana, a significantly larger number of Gurukul students will now have an opportunity to compete successfully in entrance examinations, she said.
The initiative forms an important component of the comprehensive academic action plan for the 2026–27 academic year, aimed at preparing students more effectively for competitive examinations and higher education.
