Mahbubabad, Sept.5 (NSS): Former minister and Suryapet MLA Jagadish Reddy today alleged that anarchic rule was running in the State and added that it was unfortunate that the police system was also a part of it. He condemned the arrest of the Konatham Dileep, former director of Telangana Digital Media.
Speaking on the occasion, he said Konatham Dileep was illegally detained by the police. He also said the Revanth Reddy government could not tolerate Dileep’s questioning of the government’s incompetence for some time. “Even a few days ago, when they tried to create trouble in a false case, the High Court reprimanded them, but they were furious. Dileep was taken into custody illegally once again with the intention of strangling him. He was arrested without giving even the minimum information and without telling in what case he was being detained. Is Public Administration meant to silence those who question,” he asked.
Jagadish Reddy said if the State government thinks that it can continue to rule with illegal arrests and detentions, it was delusional. He said no matter how many cases are filed and how many illegal arrests are made, there would be more people who question the government.
