Hyderabad, June 28 (NSS): Leaders cutting across the party lines in Telangana on Friday paid rich tributes to former prime minister late P V Narasimha Rao on his birth anniversary.
Minister for Roads and Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao, former minister K Jana Reddy, Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) president Kodandaram, daughter of PV and MLC Surabhi Vanidevi and other leaders visited the PV Ghat in Hyderabad and paid rich tributes to former prime minister.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said the people will always remember the services rendered by the late Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao for the country.
“If the reforms were not implemented by PV, the country would not be in this state today. He was a genius and gave excellent governance,” Komatireddy said.
Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao said that PV was a leader with socialist ideology and the land reforms implemented by him completely changed the face of Andhra Pradesh political system.
