Muscat, Feb 6 (ONA) — The 10th edition of Oil & Gas West Asia (OGWA 2016) Exhibition & Conference organized by Omanexpo, in collaboration with the Ministry of Oil and Gas, will take place at Muscat International Exhibition Centre during March 21st to 23rd, 2016.
The OGWA 2016 aims at attracting companies from the Gulf region, Asia, Americas, Europe and Africa, which may be good markets for the Omani oil and gas companies’ services and products. The event will also help in enhancing the continuous exploration and production activities in the Sultanate and in marketing oil and gas products as it will gather under one roof many international oil and gas companies, in addition to technology and service suppliers.
The OGWA 2016 also promotes the available oil and gas business opportunities in the Sultanate among investors from inside and outside the Sultanate.
More than 300 local and international companies from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, India, Iran, China, Austria, Italy, Belgium, Egypt, France, Germany and Indonesia will take part at the event.
A number of CEOs, decision-makers and senior technical experts in major oil and gas companies will attend the OGWA 2016.
The participants will share views on the developments and challenges of oil and gas sectors in light of the recent oil price slump.
The event includes a panel discussion that will include OPEC Chairman and a number of renowned figures in the oil and gas industry.
