
Hyderabad, July 14 (RAHNUMA): In an effort to strengthen student safety during school transport, the Rajendranagar traffic police, in association with the Traffic Training Institute (TT9), Goshamahal, conducted a traffic awareness programme for 50 school bus drivers and vehicle assistants at Sri Vidyaranya International School, Bandlaguda here on Tuesday.
The awareness session specifically catered to school bus drivers and ayahs (vehicle assistants). Participants were trained on traffic signs, safe driving practices, proper boarding and deboarding of students, responsibilities of vehicle assistants, safe navigation at roundabouts, and legal consequences of traffic violations. The programme was attended by TTI Head Constable Venu Gopal, school principal Ramaviswanadhan and other traffic police officials.
