Hyderabad, May 23 (NSS): BRS party leader Sridhar Reddy, 45, was brutally murdered in Wanaparthy district. The incident took place on Wednesday midnight in Lakshmipalli of Chinnambavi Mandal of Kollapur Constituency. Unknown persons beheaded him with an axe while he was sleeping outdoors at night.
The deceased Sridhar Reddy was a close follower of former MLA Harshavardhan Reddy of Kollapur. Harshavardhan Reddy reacted to the murder. He alleged that Sridhar Reddy was killed due to political reasons. He said in Kollapur constituency, BRS leaders were being targeted. He also said there have been successive attacks on the BRS supporters in recent times. He expressed his grief that despite complaining to the DGP, there was no reaction in the issue.
The police have registered a case and are investigating the incident. (NSS
