
Hyderabad, May 11 (RAHNUMA): GITAM, deemed to be University, will organize a three-day Residential Professional Development Programme (RPDP) for Physics teachers from June 1 to 3 at its Hyderabad campus, focusing on “Advanced Concepts, Pedagogy, and Educational Tools.”
The programme is being conducted by the Department of Physics, GITAM School of Science, in association with the Indian Physics Association, with academic participation from the School of Education, GITAM.
The initiative aims to strengthen Physics education at school and undergraduate levels through innovative teaching methodologies, conceptual learning, experimental demonstrations, ICT-enabled teaching tools, simulations, DIY Physics kits, and assessment techniques.
Eminent academicians and scientists from premier institutions, including Prof. S. Anantha Ramakrishna, Dean of Sciences, GITAM; Prof. B.V.R. Tata ( Distinguish visiting Professor) and Prof. T.S. Natarajan (Former Professor, IIT Madras); Prof. Vibhor Singh (Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru); Prof. G. Ravi Kumar(Distinguished Professor, GITAM ); Prof. G.A. Rama Rao (Former Scientific Officer, BARC); Prof. Vanaja (Professor of Education, Maulana Azad National Urdu University); and Prof. Deepa Chari from Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, TIFR, Mumbai.
